Du Val Enterprises has two unique LOCATIONS. The LOFT and TERRACE GARDEN are located within a large complex of old brick buildings which were part of a metal foundry dating back to the mid 1800's. Both of these LOCATIONS were carefully renovated to enhance the beauty and character of their industrial history. These adjacent spaces are available for Photography and Video / Film Shoots, and can be rented individually or together. Both of these spaces are in the same complex as The Foundry, another LOCATION (see link). Both the LOFT and the TERRACE GARDEN LOCATIONS have been used in commercials, still-photo shoots, feature films, television series, cooking shows, interviews, music videos and magazine feature articles. The LOFT (a private home) is 4,000 sq. ft. overall. The large (50' x 25') living room has a fireplace, 2 windows overlooking Manhattan, 2 doors leading to the TERRACE GARDEN, a 1908 Brunswick wooden pooltable and 14' high ceilings with skylights. The LOFT also contains an expansive Kitchen (with a fireplace), lots of counter space and 2 big windows looking north onto the Queensborough Bridge. The roomy Entrance Area is adjacent to the Kitchen. Also available are a Study, and a most unusual Bathroom. The TERRACE GARDEN, 4,000 sq. ft., is lushly planted with an abundance of trees, shrubs and flowers. The dynamic views of the Manhattan skyline, the East River and the Queensborough Bridge are complimented by a gurgling pool and a large pergola. RATES for these LOCATIONS are dependant upon the use,the duration of the shoot, the number of the crew, and the equipment and props involved. |
